Clinks’ Transforming Rehabilitation Legal Support Project

Clinks is providing free legal support to the voluntary sector to engage with Transforming Rehabilitation (TR) through their TR Legal Support Project, funded by the Ministry of Justice.

VCSE organisations will be able to access information about the contracting process for TR, including legal information and bespoke legal advice sessions.

We thoroughly recommend that if your organisation is considering entering into subcontracting agreements to deliver services within TR, you make the most of these free, comprehensive resources.

Additional support from this project includes:

Guidance | Subcontracting: a guide to the legal implications

Clinks has worked with Russell-Cooke Solicitors to produce ‘Subcontracting: A Guide to the Legal Implications of the ISPA’. The Industry Standard Partnering Agreement (ISPA) is the new standard contract that most organisations will be required to use when subcontracting under the TR programme. The Guide will help voluntary sector organisations get to grips with the implications of taking on this kind of contract and how to deal with contract negotiations. The guide is available here

Workshops | Subcontracting: the legal implications

Clinks will be running a series of workshops across the country throughout March, providing more information on the legal implications of the ISPA and contracts.

As part of this workshop programme, Candour Collaborations and ACEVO will be extending our popular negotiations events. These are interactive workshops designed to prepare you for negotiations with potential Tier 1 providers. They will be held on the afternoons of 14th March in Manchester and 21st March in London at the same venues as the legal implication events.
